Kaumarbhritya is one of the highly specialized branch of Ashtanga Ayurveda. The department deals with Neonatal Care, Infant nutrition, Monitoring Growth & Development of child, Immunization, Swarnaprashana for intellectual & overall development of child, treatment of a great variety of pediatric disorders through Ayurvedic medicines, different Panchakarma Therapies and Yoga as well.
Kaumarbhritya OPD has a footfall of 8000 to 10000 pediatric cases annually.
Vision
To impart scientific & skillful quality teaching of the subject in Ayurveda and contemporary science to UG, PG Scholars Ayurveda and contemporary science.
To enable the students to spread the message of Ayurveda on a global platform to treat the pediatric disorders a/c to principles of Ayurveda and reduce the occurrence of diseases by boosting their innate défense mechanisms.
