Vedas and Samhitas (scholarly books and treatises) are the basic seats of Indic wisdom. These compendia are huge collection of concise but detailed and useful information about the ontology, health and wellness etc. The department of Ayurved Samhita and Siddhanta bears the responsibility to act as a basic bench and an intelligible platform of fundamental principles and philosophies of life sciences dispersed in ancient literature. It actually may act as a think tank of the theories and visions for physical and mental health encrypted in ancient literature of Ayurveda and other oriental streams of health sciences.
